Live Music – Jamie Hansen

Born and raised in Wyoming, Jamie Hansen is one of the most promising up and coming artists in the West. Her original pop country sound fits in well on playlists next to Tenille Arts, Kelsea Ballerini, and Taylor Swift.

In the past 3 years, Hansen has released a live EP ‘Heart Like Mine’, and ten singles. This led to the Nashville Songwriters Association naming Hansen as ‘One to Watch’ in 2020 and Buzz Music marking her a ‘unique vocal prowess’ in 2021. Hansen had the opportunity to open for Natasha Bedingfield in Laramie, Wyoming in September 2023.

Hansen’s music journey began at a very young age. She began writing songs at 6 years old to express her feelings and channel her creativity. She soon fell in love with not only country music, but pop, rock, and the blues.

In 2017, Hansen took a semester off college to test out Music City, where she learned from other songwriters and industry insiders. Hansen then graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2020, the same year she released her EP ‘Heart Like Mine’. Since then, Hansen has lived a double life working in the outdoor industry as a backcountry guide and performing music in between. Hansen has been performing across the rocky mountain west for the past three years.
