Bring your crew and your recipe downtown and compete with other local and regional chili aficionados in the CASI sanctioned Betty Kiser Memorial Chili Cookoff. CASI, or Chili Appreciation Society International, has been around for over 50 years. Did you know that some pretty famous people are associated with CASI? Carroll Shelby, best known for fast cars (Cobra and Shelby Mustangs), has been an integral part of CASI’s past as well. He was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 1974.
