Live Music: Jamie Hansen

Born and raised in Laramie, country pop singer-songwriter Jamie Hansen is forging a new path in country music. Hansen began writing her own songs at age 6, incorporating not only country music, but also pop, rock, and the blues. In 2017, Hansen took a semester off college to pursue her dream in Music City, where she learned from other songwriters and industry insiders. Hansen then graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2020 - the same year she released her first EP dedicated to heartbreak entitled, "Heart Like Mine". In 2021, Hansen released 5 singles each with corresponding music videos. She has started off 2022 strong with her release of "The Writing's on the Wall" which will be followed by at least 4 more singles. In addition to writing and playing music, Hansen works for a guest ranch in Wyoming - leading trail rides, running a backcountry guest and hunting camp, and guiding hikes. (Bio from Soundcloud.com)
